Took my car in for its first MOT ( failed as it needs a new tyre) , did a lot of tidying up and cleaning and attempted to patch Js gardening shorts. My sewing machine is fairly new and hadn’t used it for months so couldn’t remember how to change the stitch. Instructions for my model weren’t online so decided to sleep on it and try again tomorrow. Then found original instructions just as I was going to bed, underneath a pile of clothes. No idea why I put them there! Joists now on utility room roof and brick laying continues
