A Lottery

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

I read the news as I had breakfast and the news from Kabul made for a flat mood.

I spent the afternoon in the garden, tidying and weeding. I was able to go outside alone, wearing clothes which let me feel the sunlight on my skin and listen to music.

I am privileged to be able to take these things for granted.
