Double trouble

Summer holiday 2021 day 3

Our last day in Norfolk started off in pretty rubbish fashion, though thankfully it did improve.
Once we'd packed up the Airbnb* my idea was to head into Norwich for a look round - It was cold, it was rainy, coffee shops were full, Aaron dropped his drink and cookies in Starbucks, and then to top it all off we went to the Cathedral to see Dippy by following directions on Louisa's phone to Cathedral Street...that is not where the Cathedral is!
On the plus side we did find fancy chocolates, fancy macarons, and Owen found a Hulk T-Rex*.

After the Cathedral fiasco we cut our losses and decided to head off to JR'S in North Walsham (very glad for the satnav) for bowling*, soft play, and holiday food. Aaron managed a double strike at bowling and Owen had great fun dragging me around the soft play area (I obviously put up a massive fight) then getting everyone to play football together. That was all topped off by lots of food, air-hockey and pool.
A great way to finish off before the looong drive home.
