A different walk

Today Pixie and I visited our friend Trish with their super rescue dog Ty and they took us for a lovely walk alongside the rather unfortunately named ‘North Level Main Drain’. One thinks of a drain as being not very pleasant, but here in the Fens drains and dykes simply collect water from the surrounding farmland so are essential to keep it suitable for crops.
Here on this stretch live a family of Swans - mum, dad, and seven cygnets - beautiful to see such a large brood all surviving. See extras for pic of Pixie and Ty  and also four of the cygnets.
