Gently down the stream

Water mint

Mentha aquatica

There's a lot of this growing in one particularly lush green corner of the reserve - where I went this morning half hoping to catchup with the roe deer family.  A warden told me they had been seen with the male as well a few days ago - now that would be exciting to see!

Instead you have this bee bumbling from flower to flower.  Pretty lovely, but on a small scale!

Not a lot's been done today.  I did walk quite a bit further, but not as far as I'd intended.  I've felt tired, to be honest.  Sometimes getting the bus home seems like a good idea.

Look after yourselves, lovely peeps  xx
