After seeing a tutorial on youtube, I made my own cover from an old book and cardstock for the wider spine. I cut smaller pieces for the four reliefs on the spine and glued them down. Then I cut out a piece of fabric and glued it down on the spine and did my best to glue the fabric snug around the reliefs, but I didn't make a good job of that... The fabric was too clean so I used Distress Oxides and a Distress Inc - a kind of inc pads for card making and junk journaling - to 'dirty' it up a bit and make the spine look a bit used. I still have work to do, but now the acrylic paint has to dry properly over night. After that I can continue. :)
