Dipper in the Braid Burn

Bit of a dull start to the day. the metoffice was saying mist, but it was definitely raining, quite heavily too. It has stopped by the time the washing is ready to be put out. I walk down to Braidburn Valley Park at lunchtime. At one place where it is possible to see the burn, I notice a dipper. It seems quite young. There was another, faster dipper around, which I presume was the adult showing the youngster how to catch food.

Got home, noticed there wasn't any wind, and the washing wasn't getting any drier, so I brought it in, and hung it up on the electric drier.

Light rain after work, so no after work bike ride. A quick walk around the park instead.
