Disco Divas

D and I were invited to a barbecue at the house previously known as ‘Dr Bertram’s’ but currently owned by Christina and Steve who have transformed the house and gardens and now have a nightclub in the basement. We were given a tour of the house and I lost count of the number of rooms and staircases we went in, out and up and down. . We think there are about 13 bedrooms. There was a great mix of village people there and we had a fantastic time.
Helen (D’s sister) has arrived for Hendstock and we spent the day putting up marquees and cleaning out the summer house.
