Beauty in the eye of the beholder

There is something about dying flowers that to me is simply beautiful. This rose was on its was to the 'brown bin'
Today's big shop was not the greatest. Lots of empty shelves in fresh produce and some more mundane items. Apparently (according to a sign in Morrisons) the Scottish weather is largely to blame with regard to fresh fruit and veg.....not sure this summer has felt that different.
