Penmon Point

The best day of the week weather wise, at least in the afternoon. The morning we all had a bit of a lie-in and then headed into Beaumaris for a early lunch at the Midland Tapas Bar which was delicious. 
Then in the afternoon we went to Penmon Point for a leg stretch and an ice cream. The sun got too hot (!) for my Mum whilst we were sat with our ice creams so we came back to Henllys for some relaxation before yet another evening of games. The games have been very successful and we’ve had such a good time together. It’s just such a shame my elder brother and his family in NZ couldn’t be here like they were planning to be. Currently they are back in lockdown in NZ after some more cases of community transmission have been found. However they did join us on Zoom for a while on Mum’s birthday which was wonderful.  
Tomorrow we go home and will stop off at Llandudno on the way for a stroll and some lunch.
