Missy & I walked 10+ kms today, just because we could and also to drop off some newly arrived avocados to my daughter’s. A. & I had a very odd conversation, sitting outside on some large stones, several meters apart. No masks though.

NZ’s Lockdown 4 has been extended to midnight next Tuesday. It’s hardly surprising as the numbers of community infections has increased, and spread to other parts of the country. I hear that some folk from the Auckland area escaped down here to their holiday homes. The locals are far from impressed.

It’s been a beautiful Spring day and has been enjoyable in spite of the above. It’s Spring and the birds are coming back.
