Greville Smyth looking at the view
This I presume is the head of Greville viewing what would have been the nature formed hills, valleys, rivers and wildlife of what was to become the City of Bristol.
It is in the extensive parkland surrounding Aston Court the home for over 400 years by the Smyth ( I think it said in the worn plaque on his flat head) and all owned by the City of Bristol purchased by a far seeing Councillor in the 1970s.
I love his collar!!
More tomorrow when I continue walking Tiger the dog.
