Cockermouth & Buttermere

We drive to Cockermouth to visit the NT house that was the birthplace of William Wordsworth.
After lunch we drove past Crummock Water to Buttermere where we had a wonderful walk up the waterfall and along the lake with more magnificent views :-)

Mr W enjoyed driving back to Ambleside via the Honister Pass with spectacular scenery.

Later we enjoyed a lovely evening meal in The Lily next to our Airbnb :-D
