Is it a Pokemon?

This is a Elephant Hawk Moth Caterpillar. We found it scurrying across the road on our daily walk. Unfortunately, Murphy couldn’t resist giving it a good sniff, so it has withdrawn its head and is displaying its false eyes. The  markings make it look like a scary Pokemon.
