Made it!

Finally managed to walk up to the park. This is the centre of the Rose Bowl. It has commemorative columns surrounding it. I believe there is one for COVID but I couldn’t find it. There are so many!
Then walked to the viewing point and had a gentle stroll downhill to home. At least the walk is the right way round. I am sure I could have achieved this earlier now I have a battery but had to overcome the apprehension.
