Unexpected.

We decided to walk part of the Esk Valley Walk today from Sleights to Grosmont. It was blissful as we only saw two other couples on the entire walk. Walked through woodland, up hill and down and across farmland, seeing the usual sheep , cows, grouse, horses, elephant heads and petrol pumps.

Called in Beacon Farm for an ice cream on the way back. A perfect day.
