Laugharne Castle

Me and Mrs K picked daughter Danielle up this morning for a few days away in South Wales, a much-needed change of scenery for us all. We booked a pub lunch on route just beyond Cardiff and it was great. They even did a dog's dinner for Millie pups!

The subsequent journey to our holiday cottage in Laugharne was stop-start on the motorway and we could only put it down to volume of traffic. The heavy showers didn't help either.

Luckily it had dried up by the time we arrived. The cottage is great. We had a walk around the town and later had a fish & chip supper which was very good.

I chose this image with the likelihood that it won't be the only blip of the castle; we'll see. An extra too that reminds me of the lovely tranquil panorama that we encountered on our walk.
