Day trip

Today my humans had a holiday from work and we went on a trip. I’m not too keen on cars and I was a little anxious as things were put into the car. We seemed to be in the car forever but when we arrived, I could smell my favourite things. Sea and sand. We had driven to Northumberland to visit friends of my humans who were on holiday there. Their cottage was walking distance from the beach. We all had a fabulous day and some of the family went into the sea on special small boards. I am very tired now and will spend all evening sleeping and dreaming of the beach.
