Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

Flooers!

Another day of sunshine today which was not what was forecast - but I'm not complaining. I haven't been out today apart from a brief sortie to Lidl for a baguette!
The girls came for lunch with their mum this afternoon, Isobel looking so grown up. They were in matching blue check school dresses. We had eggy toast for lunch, made with the aforementioned baguette, so proper French toast! Special request from Eilidh and much appreciated.
They played together well and enjoyed the sunshine but Isobel was definitely tired. I think her mum will be pleased if she has gives her fewer disturbed nights. She's still so full of being at school it's lovely.
Wrote my article for the Cursillo magazine and made several phone calls but other than that, a much needed quiet day.
These are the beautiful roses Colin bought for me before heading up to see his mum. Wonderful splash of colour.
Keep safe everybody, cases are still on the way up.
Oh and it's Friday so here's the art quiz back. 9/10 for me today, good luck
