Archives

Today me and M paid a visit to the local archives to do some research for our family tree we're not sure if we really made any headway with our research as never using the archives before we didn't really know what we needed to research although we did manage to look at some of the parish records and we found a lot more of our family are buried in one of our churchyards than we had seen when we went visiting a while back so looks like a return visit to see if we can locate them. Note to self make a list of things and dates that I want to research before I go again. We also found a newspaper report about the death of one of my great uncles which M was pleased about. Even though we didn't get as much done as we would have liked it was very interesting. Roll on the next visit.
