The last survivors

I’m sure it started early in the new year, sowing tomato seeds by the dining room window, nurturing then to grow, watering and moving to follow the sun, then planting out at the plot under cover of a mini greenhouse with a tomato grow bag and homemade seaweed feed, nurturing and caring until they grew to a good size with an abundance of fruits ...and then blight struck and destroyed them all, these were the last survivors that I picked and put on the window sill to colour but it’s not happening, the story of the failed tomatoes
