We had made up our mind on a good walk, but when we got to the start it was raining...... soft, silky, silent, but rain just the same.  However, it was not too heavy, and we figured it might go off, so we set off.  It didn't go off, but it was actually the first time we have walked in rain for a while, and it was quite pleasant.  We were quite wet when we got back to the car, but once in dry clothes we felt good. 

Headed home via a coffee stop, which was not too successful as the service was very slow, and it made us a bit late as we had booked a table for a meal out.  However, we made it!

It was a nice day, and the HG finished off with sticky toffee pudding sundae, there must have been at least 5,000 calories in it, and he is supposed to be watching his weight!
