Going, going .....

...... not yet quite gone.   We spent a very enjoyable day at a stained glass workshop (products will be blipped another day when there is light enough to enjoy them) and returned to find that our neighbours had made huge strides in cutting down the leylandii hedge between our properties.  

It's on the southern boundary, and had grown to the best part of 12ft high, so even though it will eventually be replaced by a 6ft fence, removal will make the lower part of our garden much lighter, especially in the winter.
