Thirty-five

This is a bit of a blip-cheat as I actually finished reading this book yesterday but I was in need of a blip today. I chose it having seen a recently published biography of the author and Philip Larkin’s quote that he’d rather read a new novel by her than by Jane Austen. I could see the attraction for much of the story but was disappointed by the less than definitive ending.

The weather was better than the forecast today but we have done very little. A couple of walks for Bailey - he chose our route on the second one and a trip round to the shops this morning. More visitors tomorrow which will please Bailey.
