Bowness-On-Solway

( I’m a day late writing this again !)
I’m the morning I had a dental appointment. It was a sobering experience as I found out that I have serious degeneration in the bone supporting my lower front teeth. These teeth have become loose, and it looks like I will loose them :-( I go back in 2 weeks time.

After lunch my partner and I went on a wee trip over the border to Cumbria. We enjoyed views across the Solway to the places we normally walk.
Bowness -on-Solway is the starting point ( or end ) of Hadrian’s Wall. It was also the sight of a railway bridge across to Annan.
