La Luz Trail

Looking at "the thumb" which doesn't look like a thumb from here, but you should see it from 5 miles away.  The musician stayed home and practiced for his first live gig in almost two years.  

I was after much needed mountain time.  I did not hike all the way to the top (7.5 miles...3,500 ft. altitude gain)...saving that for another day and a friend to hike with.
