2021 Friday — Walked to Town
We escaped from the house at 11:22; we had placed Chloe pup in her crate; put Mitzi pup on our bed (she misbehaves in her crate these days), and we quietly stepped out of the house to walk toward the farmers market that meets on summer Friday mornings in Cayucos.
The pups do more sniffing than walking, so we leave them home. I told Mr. Fun that I needed an onion for the homemade soup I’m making this afternoon; the pastries and cookies were really the bullseye on my target; the 3-pack of strawberries was a spontaneous purchase.
Then we walked across Ocean Avenue to gaze at the waves and decided to walk toward home on the sand. So my addiction to take photos was in full bloom; because the world is in such a mess, such a sad condition, I hesitate to post many happy pictures on my social media.
The two of us continue to pray for Afghanistan. We are being told that 11,000 people and maybe as many as 40,000 people, have been left behind—all throughout the day we speak sentence prayers for them. We believe America is in an extremely precarious condition; the current administration appears confused and our leaders are in turmoil. We are asking God to protect America from world enemies who hate this nation.
