What a Performance!

Hendstock 10
Comings and goings all day. People dropping off gazebos, chairs, a bar, beer and various music paraphernalia. Sound checks happened and the rain started.
Fortunately it did stop around 5pm. There was a steady trickle of people to start. The entertainment started. Hayley, Janine and T did a few cracking '40's numbers and of course the Accelerants did their slot. Everyone was bouncing. My nephew, Alf, had learned all the bass lines due to the regular bassist, Bill, recovering from covid. Bill was better, but let Alf do some numbers. What a treat.
It's been a wonderful Hendstock, great to be back after a years break.

Never forgetting Ian, Davids friend, who died from meningitis in August 2011. We have a Just Giving page and donations from beer, T shirts and the door we are hoping to raise around £3000.
Many thanks to David and Hayley for their brains and backbone in the organisation of Hendstock.
