Ch-aargh-lie

Charlie's school have had a theatre group in over the past few months, working with the kids to put on Treasure Island. Tonight was show night. I've mucked about with this photograph a bit to bring Charlie out - knock the others back - otherwise it was pretty flat. I'll just say now that all the other kids in the show were very good too.

Working together to put on a show is such a great activity for a school to do. The benefits to the kids are as great as they are intangible. It's not just the kids that benefit. Adults get together. A community emerges from a group of small groups.
