Early evening sunlight

A splendid day after recent days of drizzle, it was sunny and warm and ideal for our traditional Sunday morning coffee and chat with neighbourly friends. The six of us always enjoy the chat and banter regardless of the weather along with the two gorgeous shelties, Lucy and the more recent arrival Bertie the puppy.

We have friends arriving tomorrow and feeling excited, as well as exhausted, I’m sure it’s all in the mind that the place needs to be clean, if I didn’t do it would it look any less clean. Actually yes and back ache and feeling shattered is all part of the fun.

Of course I have forgotten the name of the yellow flower, and wonder if you know the dark red one? I ordered a few bedding plants from Sutton’s some months ago, they arrived upside down and inside out, not impressed but we left it at that.
A second order arrived in the same state, why would they do this to living plants? For the second order I contacted them and stuck with it and eventually given a refund. And will not be ordering from them again. With all the fuss I lost track of the names for each plant.
