Inside the Breakwater
Light has been really strong today,
with a good North Easterly blowing again.
I had a group of students out taking photographs late morning
and another group out in the afternoon.
The weather could not have been better.
I came back to schoolhill at 3.30 and worked until back of 5.00pm.
Then, determined to finally see the waves out at the point,
I headed for Greyhope Road.
A glutton for punishment!
Boats trying to get in and out the harbour were being tossed like corks.
Waves were sweeping over the lighthouse at times.
All very dramatic, but I have opted for a quiet shot from inside the harbour.
The water streaming off the breakwater only hints at the sea beyond.
Detail is worth hitting the L key.
Will upload some more to my folio at the weekend.
Time I had a clear out of existing material
and showed all the images I have acquired over the last 6 months
