Dover from the Castle

This morning we headed to Dover Castle after a big Premier Inn breakfast. I bought English Heritage membership when we went to Stone Henge so am getting the most out of it!

I was disappointed with the actual castle as there was no signage or information anywhere, but the World War II stuff was really good. We were lucky enough to be there when they were trialling taking tours back into the tunnels so we got to do that too.

Dover docks were amazingly quiet. Only 18 cars waiting to load onto a ferry. Sad really.

We headed back to the hotel and met one of my ballet mum friends for dinner. She taught Will to play chess and he is now obsessed.
