Common Darter…..?
Finally, I’m back out walking with my camera - and it feels so good!
It’s a slow walk around the RSPB reserve in Conwy. The sun is shining and there’s a warm refreshing breeze. Apparently, there’s a juvenile kingfisher about, but we see no sign of him. However, there are dragonflies aplenty, hovering and skimming over water and landing all too briefly on the boardwalks.
I think this is a Common Darter - but I’ll rely on fellow blippers to confirm or correct my amateur attempts at identification!
