Beatrix Potter Hawkshead & Sawrey

On our last full day in the Lake District we visited Hawkshead to see the Beatrix Potter exhibition :-)
Her miniature drawings were exquisite & so precious that the exhibit is changed every year and then they’re not shown for another 10 years!!
We were so lucky that we got to see Mrs Tiggywinkle as hedgehogs are my favourite little animal :-)

After a delicious lunch we drove onto Sawrey to visit Hill Top Farm where Beatrix lived and took so much inspiration for her drawings for her books :)
