Lake Constance

Or Bodensee or Schwäbischemeer. Today we got the 6.30 am train to Romanshorn, to get the ferry across the lake. Unfortunately the train didn’t go to Romanshorn, as there was a signal failure, so instead we went to Konstanz. Here we got a different ferry, a catamaran to Friedrichshafen. We went to the exhibition Centre, to the Adventure Southside, an overland travel exhibition. It was very interesting, but also really quite hot. We got the bus back to Friedrichshafen port, then got the normal ferry back to Romanshorn.
First, I was dying to have a swim, and this was the place I got in, really warm, at least 22degC. Then we had dinner outside a tiny little Greek takeaway, absolutely delicious. Then the train back home was super, only one change.
