Any excuse...

....to light a candle. It was so dull at dinner I decided why not. And I felt calming waves would be good. Not sure why but I'm totally exhausted today.
Visited youngest late afternoon after battling the roadworks, thankfully it was only over the weekend but doubled the journey time. Eldest has COVID, she's isolating and not feeling too bad other than what feels like a heavy cold and loss of taste and smell. Her boyfriend was in Aberdeen and now needs to stay away until next weekend. Fingers crossed she doesn't get any worse. It still worries me.
