Today's gift

Random apples are either falling from the trees or being helped off by birds and squirrels. The girls are forever bringing them in. This morning Willa brought me this one. Kinda sad it wasn't allowed to ripen on the tree to the true red it had the potential to be. I even like that a leaf was still attached. Willa was compensated of course, I traded her a bit of rabbit chew for the apple. I know apples aren't bad for the girls but after they have been chewed on by squirrels I'm not sure I want Willa or Persephone to eat them....
