Passing By

We had our first thunderstorm this morning.

Not much of one really, just a few flashes, a couple of bangs and rain for about 10 minutes.

But enough to freshen the air, dampen the ground and make Jacqui's trainers all muddy when she took Duke out for a walk afterwards.

Since then, it has been a mixture of clouds and sun, which is actually a nice change from the relentless heat of the past few weeks.

Too many medusas about still to entice many into the water, which is a shame as it looks rather inviting otherwise.
