My 1st agapanthus flower ever

I've been trying to grow agapanthus (on the plot and at home) for years without success.

Last year my head gardener friend gave me agapanthus plants which I put in the ground and in pots, on the plot and at home.

This is the first flower I've had out of 6 plants and it was a lovely surprise to see the flowers are white with blue tips as I expected them to be blue. 

It's such a long-lasting flower, makes up for the absence of dahlias this summer.
