Back to the garden

Today was yet again indifferent weather wise and so we ploughed on with the clearing of the bookcase and the preparing of the cupboard in daughter #2's bedroom to store what we decide to keep.  Today's find in that bedroom was a tiny white cardigan which I believe was bought for The Son, nearly 40 years ago.  It is still extremely wearable.  In fact I believe that Violet may have worn it so after a wash it will be ready for Stella-Rose.
There was a brief sunny period this afternoon so I popped out to the front garden to photograph the bees busy working the buddleia.  I confess that the buddleia actually belongs to Zeus09smum: she has a splendid plant growing on her side of our front fence and it is a lot easier to get decent shots of hers than it is of ours which has grown rather tall in the back garden.
Tonight was the season 4 finale of The Handmaid's Tale.  The end was shocking and to some extent unexpected.  I'll say no more in case some of you have recorded but not yet watched this episode.  Fortunately season 5 is underway and we should be able to watch that here in the UK next year.
