"Architect In The House".

Another day at Hill of Tarvit Mansionhouse. 

We had many visitors, on what was a better day weather wise. It is surprising how many of our visitors are local and are visiting for the first time. They are discovering the attractions in their backyard.

Of course we remain masked and sanitiser is in use everywhere.

I finished my tour of duty in the Dining Room which is the last room visitors see before leaving.

 After I had given a my usual introduction to the room, which always changes two women approached me.

"You are the Architect in The House" 

Apparently the first guide had told the two of my presence. They had told her that they were architects.

After we had introduced ourselves we had an interesting discussion about the design of the building and some of the main features surrounding the quality of the workmanship.

I explained that I was "retired".  More discussion followed which need not feature here.

Today’s Blipfoto is of the mirror above the fireplace in the French Drawing Room. There is a suggestion of the furniture on the opposite wall and the view out of the window.
