Applegarth, Grayshott

In the grounds of Applegarth farm shop and restaurant there were these hydroponics for growing vegetables. Very interesting but a pump had to be used to get the water to the top of the tower. There were a lot of salad crops and herbs which they use in the restaurant.

We visited one of the Open Studios at Applegarth which had paintings and ceramics. Had a coffee there too. They also have a lovely farm shop.

Went for a walk on NT land near Hindhead but the signs weren’t very well signposted and we had to cut short our walk.
