STREET SCENE

It's Mono Monday and the theme is "street scene."  There aren't many streets in my little village. Our streets are in the woods...more like trails than streets but this will have to do. This is a street scene to me.

Barred Owl (Strix varia); he heard a chipmunk running through the leaves. It got his attention immediately. 

If I had any Extras remaining I would have posted the color version.....but this is pretty much how things look at daybreak when light is not bright enough to show colors well. Actually you don't see the color because the cones (color receptors) in your eyes require brighter light to be activated. Low light...limited color.
