Our main library

The library in the center of Utrecht moved to another building in February last year. The building was built as a huge post office and offices. The grand opening for the library was set for the 18th of March last year. At that exact day our first lockdown started...

Already 1,5 year ago. But I had not been there yet to see it. I'm still avoiding going into the city centre. Today I had a meeting at the library so I finally got to see it.

I had a good look around. Loved the old elements still in place. Loved the new elements like the bicycles (though I don't know what they're for). But I missed nice corners with comfy seats to snuggle in with a book.
