Lower Dawlish Water Road Ford

'Road Closed' the sign said, but I didn't think it applied to me. There used to be a bridge here but it seems to have gone, and left it as a ford. I'm not sure when that happened.  Googling it, it seems that somebody got stuck and had to be rescued back in June. There must have been a lot of water coming down recently and the gravel has piled up. The footbridge is still there though and that's good enough for me but I thought I'd stop there and take a picture.
