Lift-Off

Yep, another hummingbird photo, but I couldn’t resist sharing her tiny dangling feet!! Isn’t she just the sweetest little thing? She was resting on a branch, then suddenly lifted off to survey the ground below before perching again on the same branch • The lighting has been horrid all day because of overcast skies plus off and on showers and drizzle from Henri. He’s churning in place well south of us so clouds keep rolling in off the water. It’s annoying as it’s keeping us mostly indoors • The garlic we planted last October and harvested a few weeks ago is now cured for storage. We cleaned the bulbs today and they’re now all set to use. MrsP has requested a roasted one with crackers for a pre-dinner snack. I can’t wait to smell it cooking :) • Looking forward to seeing the sun again sometime tomorrow. It’s needed for lifting both spirits and for drying out the lawn. Mowing is definitely in my future! • Be well and enjoy whatever it is that’s giving you joy on this Monday!
