Rainbow buns

During a brief reprieve from my day's duties as nursemaid and general slave to the Maddster, I made rainbow buns! Mostly for preschool-Easter-fundraiser-thing, but a couple may have been pilfered by my two.

I was initially disappointed by the top of the buns turning a fairly uniform brown colour, but discovered the added fun of the look on Jamie's face when he bit into one and discovered the rainbow within. Even more fun was refusing to tell him how I'd done it, insisting they were made this way by mum magic. Did he look at me with wide-eyed wonderment at the extent of my mystical culinary abilities? No. He rolled his eyes and said "whatever"
