Lockdown birthday

My wonderful nephew will be 15 on August 30th.
He turns 15.
Reuben is Autistic, very high on the spectrum. He goes to a residential school during term time and then back home for holidays.
For those in NZ he is at Hohepa in Napier, such a brilliant place that is giving Reuben a great education and amazing opportunities.

As we have gone into a sudden lockdown my brother has suggested that we all do a message for Reuben and he will put it all together for the staff at Hohepa to read out to Reuben on his birthday. We are unable to get presents to him. Reuben doesn’t quite understand about birthdays and Christmas like other kids but does love to see a celebration cake, and The staff always makes sure there is a cake at each child’s birthday!

Dave and I did a photo message for him this afternoon and sent them up to my brothers.
