Plums of promise

Last year the blossom was as good as it is this year. But then a late hard frost took out every single proto-plum, apricot and peach. So here’s hoping for nothing so disastrous this time around…

The extra is a native red beech which I planted today, along with 14 other trees. It’s an ongoing project to fully plant up the property.
