Blackbird's delight
The painting in the hall continued, but came to a rapid halt again this afternoon with the arrival of another unexpected visitor. Very good to see Janet, who had popped in to the town for some shopping.
In the evening MrM and I walked the 'Humbleton round'. Lots of wildlife this time - a red squirrel on one of the feeders on the Common, a deer, and on the moors two weasels crossed the track, squealing loudly and chasing each other. Lots of rowan trees full of berries - the blackbirds love them.
